I always love visiting Dennis’ with all their colors and planters.  It takes time to absorb it all, as you walk around the Garden Center marveling at what you see.  I find myself saying…I want that one…..Ohhhhh, that would look so good with…..LOVE those colors together…..What a great idea for the patio…..

Take a look thru these and let me know which one you will be picking up soon!

A visit to – Dennis’ 7 Dees Garden Center

I took a drive in the beautiful sunshine last week – and what a gorgeous find in Cedar Mills!

If you haven’t been to Dennis’ 7 Dees Garden Center on Butner Rd… are missing some of the most amazing assortments of colorful flowers and shrubs around the area.  I have chosen a few of the brightly colored shots I took while I was there.  The Manager – Michael Curtin is quite friendly and so very knowledgeable at finding just the right location and setting for each plant variety, so it is attractive to the eye.  The colors are wonderful as spring is in the air, and our gardens will excite us daily with these in the yard.

There are pots of every style, size and color.  Trees and shrubs of several appealing varieties, and flowers galore!

A Day at the Farm…..

What a wonderful drive to the country side of Cornelius.  A good friend of mine invited me out to see their farmland, and to photograph anything I could find.  Well – let’s say that after this trip, I will be taking more ventures out that way.  There were so many spots to stop and grab a shot of – that my brain was on overload.  Even though the weather was not sunny and bright, once the rubber boots were on, I was off.

After about an hour or so, I stopped to visit awhile and share stories.  We haven’t seen each other for years, but it felt like no time had passed.  What a joy the visit was, and the opportunity to photograph some of their belongings thru my eyes.  Here are a few that I feel show just the surface of what I may find on future visits.  Thank you so much Linda and Wes!
